Hello and welcome!
I am a co-owner of South Shore Counseling and have practiced in the field of Social Work since 2001. I opened my first private practice in 2012 where I worked with college students in Burlington, VT for several years. I have a vast range of experience that includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am passionate about helping people and have a strong belief that every individual can benefit from the therapeutic process as part of maintaining regular wellness.
My career started in NYC at Beth Israel Medical Center where I trained and specialized working with Women’s Health issues in an outpatient setting. I worked with many women struggling with perinatal/postpartum depression, anxiety, high risk medical issues, domestic violence, relationship issues, and pregnancy loss. I have worked in multiple school settings and am currently a full time School Social Worker. As a School Social Worker I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, academic pressure, divorce, peer conflict, bullying, and self-harm.
I would describe myself as “down to earth”, direct, and compassionate with a good sense of humor. I enjoy building a rapport with my client and believe that we are all capable of individual growth.
