Hello and Welcome!

As a therapist, I am caring, approachable and compassionate, and I strive to balance empathy with an engaged and interactive style. I enjoy developing a trusting and open relationship with clients, so they have a safe space to work through what they are experiencing.  We will work together to develop a greater understanding of whatever is causing discomfort in your life.

I welcome clients from varied backgrounds from childhood through adulthood. I have been a school based social worker for the past 15 years.  I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and their families struggling with social skills, anxiety and depression, school phobia, trauma, ADHD, bullying and self-esteem.  In addition to the more traditional responsibilities of a school social worker, I work as a special education chairperson.  In this role I help identify and provide appropriate special education services for preschool and elementary age students.  I work closely with parents and caregivers in navigating challenges in special education, behavior management, developmental disabilities, family dynamics, and accessing community resources.  I am very excited to bring these skills to the private setting.

I look forward to hearing from you!
