Welcome! I believe in empowering people to be the best version of themselves. I approach therapy from a trauma informed care lens. I will help you find your strengths while encouraging your ability to reach your individual goals. I am here to listen empathetically without judgment. I have a calm demeanor yet can be a strong advocate for those that need it.
I currently see all ages from children through adulthood. I treat issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, women's issues, family conflict, life transitions/stressors, relationship issues and personal empowerment.
In addition, my background includes lengthy experience in behavior modification including work with both children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Currently I work as a school social worker/transition coordinator assisting special education students and families prepare for their journey after high school.
I connect well with children and adolescents and recognize healthy self-esteem and confidence are essential to form at these ages. If a child is experiencing difficulty, it can affect the family unit. Supporting the entire family is important and I am here to help with this.
Taking that first step to seek help can be tough! I strive to maintain a positive approach and will provide a safe space for you to feel comfortable and be heard.
I look forward to connecting with you!
