Welcome!
I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Liberty University after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta. Through my education and professional experiences, I have developed a passion for supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, recognize their strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
I have experience working with youth and adults who are facing a variety of challenges, including mental health concerns, substance use struggles, and difficult life transitions. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the importance of meeting each person with compassion, empathy, and respect for their unique journey.
As a social work intern, I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. I recognize that reaching out for support can be a difficult and vulnerable step, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and sharing their experiences at their own pace.
My approach is grounded in person-centered and strengths-based practices. I believe every individual has strengths and the capacity for growth and healing but may need some assistance with acknowledging that for themselves. I look forward to working collaboratively with clients to explore their goals, develop coping strategies, and support them in building a greater sense of confidence, resilience, and overall well-being.
It is an honor to be part of each client’s journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide support as they navigate challenges and work toward positive change.
