MSW – Intern
Hi there!
I’m a current Master of Social Work student with a Bachelors in Psychology, as well as a Certified Advanced Reiki Practitioner. I fuse a variety of modern + eastern therapies to tailor each client’s needs + goals, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation and Breathwork.
I don’t give advice- I give space. Space for children (ages 7+), teens, adults, couples and families with codependency, anxiety, depression, ADHD and inner child work, as well as improve communication skills and resolve conflicts.
As a dedicated psychotherapist intern working with adults, I am passionate about helping you understand your thoughts, behaviors + patterns by exploring your past experiences to unlock the potential for healing + growth. My belief is to understand your relationships, you must first understand yourself. Together, we will navigate through your “life blueprint”, improving your relationships- and ultimately improving your life.
I am also experienced with helping your child during challenging times, such as managing their mental health symptoms, skill building (communication, organization, independence + social skills), and helping them navigate through stressful family dynamics. With a background in case management, I can also provide families with tools, resources + psychoeducation to further assist your needs.
In my free time, I cherish moments with my family, including my two cats. I enjoy traveling near and far which allows me to immerse myself in new cultures, enriching my life perspective. As a born + raised Long Island girl, I appreciate the beauty of nature + all four seasons, but mostly fall- as I love the cozy weather, pumpkins + festivals! My passion for learning + personal growth drives me to continuously seek new experiences + connect with others both personally + professionally.
