MSW Candidate
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Denver, specializing in trauma-informed care. I have a BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. My perspective is that true healing occurs when individuals feel safe, valued, and supported as their authentic selves.
I view therapy as a space to slow down, explore what you’ve been carrying, and cultivate new ways of connecting with yourself and those around you. My goal is to foster a collaborative, supportive atmosphere where insight and practical tools come together. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, neurodivergence, identity exploration, career burnout, and significant life transitions. Together, we focus on building greater self-trust and clarity.
Prior to entering the clinical field, I spent more than a decade in Learning and Development. My work there centered on psychological safety, emotional intelligence, communication, and conflict resolution. This experience gives me a deep understanding of group dynamics, power, identity, and how our surroundings impact our nervous systems. I currently work within a small business offering Reiki and sound bath experiences, which further supports my integrative, mind-body approach.
In our sessions, we explore thought patterns and pay attention to how emotions and stress manifest physically. I utilize evidence-based methods, including CBT and DBT, and blend them with grounding techniques and somatic practices to foster emotional regulation and self-awareness. When helpful, I incorporate gentle creative tools like imagery or music. I provide affirming, inclusive care and have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients of all ages.
Beyond my professional life, I prioritize balance and well-being. I love spending time with my dog and cats, practicing aerial arts, and tending to my garden during the warmer months.
If you’re seeking a therapist who appreciates both structure and gentleness, evidence and intuition, reflection and action, I would be privileged to work with you. Therapy is a partnership, and you don’t have to face it alone.
